What is Microsoft 365?

It is the successor to Office 365, a subscription service that incorporates the latest productivity tools from Microsoft. Including Exchange Online Mailboxes, Microsoft Teams Collaboration, OneDrive Cloud storage and the familiar Office Suite with Word, Excel and Outlook.

Do I need technical expertise to setup 365?

 It's quick to setup, with friendly wizards developed to make the process as easy as possible. Helpfully, an optional setup service is available where our team can perform setup for you.

Do I have to install anything for Microsoft 365?

Microsoft 365 provides a great web based experiencing with access to Outlook email, Teams Collaboration and even Word and Excel Office applications. If you opt for a package that includes the desktop applications they can be installed on your Windows or MacOS computer. Mobile Apps are included too for Android and Apple iOS.

Do I need to buy licenses for every employee?

Each user requires their own license to access and use Microsoft 365. So, if a user needs an email address they will need a license. Where the full Office suite is included in a package it may be installed on up to 5 devices, but used by the licensed user only so it is important to choose the appropriate subscription for each user's needs.

How long does it take to setup Microsoft 365?

Setup of Microsoft 365 can be fast, clients could be up and running within minutes. However, if you are registering a new domain or moving an existing domain it can take a while longer to plan a smooth transition.

Can I use my existing domain with Microsoft 365?

Yes, if you already own a domain you can use it with Microsoft 365. The domain can be registered through iridis or a third party - unlike some providers there is no need to transfer your domain registration to purchase a subscription.
