Do I require a static IP address?
The mailMX service can deliver email to a Static IP address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN). The FQDN may resolve to a fixed IP address or be dynamically updated. mailMX Max requires your mail server to have a static IP due to the unlimited domain feature.
How long does the service take to provision?
As part of our strict antispam policy we review all mailMX orders to prevent misuse so activation is up to 1 working day, though typically it is within a few working hours.
Do we have to send outbound email via iridis?
No, mailMX compliments your existing mail flow so works in tandem with your current outbound mail flow. iridis provide the mailRelay for reliable outbound delivery as an optional add-on.
