A program known as an agent is installed with a few clicks, this runs in the background and will periodically send copies to the secure Acronis service. How frequently you backup and which files are included are configurable from our website.

How is Cloud Backup different to Cloud Storage?

Cloud Backup is designed to periodically make copies of your valuable data in a secure cloud location. Multiple copies can be retained so you can go back to a previous point in time. Cloud Storage simply stores your data online with a third party and does not necessarily provide any of the powerful features of a backup solution or protect files on your laptop or desktop computer.
